There are a number of events that happen in Wakefield parks, some that we manage and others that other groups and organisations organise, as well as the Council.

Our Events in the Parks 

Weeding Wednesday and Litter Picks

During the better weather months you are welcome to join us to help make a fun and positive move to improve the parks.

Don't forget stout footwear, gloves if you have them and plenty of sunscreen. A hat would be a good idea as well.

Car Boot Sales

We hold a few Car Boot Sales in Clarence Park through out the year.  When dates are arranged and agreed by the Council we will post them on here and via social media, as well as advertise with a banner on Denby Dale Road, near the entrance.

Standard information is as follows - 

Start: sellers 7.00 am, buyers 8.00am Finish: 12.00 noon
Cost: Cars £8.00. Vans £10.00. Trailers £2.00
Access: off Denby Dale Road opposite St James' Church
