Holmfield Park

 

When the owner of Holmfield Estate died the estate was bought by the Corporation and opened in 1919 as Holmfield Park.

 

The house is now a public house, The Holmfield Arms, with a hotel behind.

 

Holmfield Park has bowling greens, tennis courts, a putting green and a pitch and putt.  Equipment is available from the offices on the corner of Denby Dale Road and Thornes Road, near the Rhubarb.
